What Are Jeuveau?
Jeuveau® is an FDA-approved cosmetic injection used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults. Jeuveau® is also commonly used to treat moderate to severe dynamic wrinkles (wrinkles that occur during facial expressions) on the forehead and around the outer eye area (aka crow’s feet). The injection works by blocking the nerve signals to the muscles in the problem areas. This results in a decrease in wrinkles in those areas because the muscles are no longer contracting or they are contracting much less.
Who benefits from Jeuveau?
Clients that most often benefit from this non-surgical procedure are males or females with transverse/horizontal wrinkles of the forehead, wrinkles between the eyebrows, and/or wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet). In clients that are prone to forming wrinkles from facial expressions, Jeuveau® can also be used as a preventative measure.
Jeuveau Procedure for wrinkles
Clients should wear minimal make-up when coming in for facial Jeuveau® injections. The injections will be performed in the areas that need treatment and that are agreed upon, and will be performed by a certified, injection specialist. The in-office procedure will take about 15 minutes.
